Our Team

Erin Cannata, Case Manager

Erin, a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT, has been with Medicaid4you for five years. Erin helps senior citizens and their families navigate the State of Connecticut’s Medicaid system; in her time with us, she has successfully processed hundreds of applications. She also helps manage the staff and is responsible for training new case managers.

Prior to working for Medicaid4You, Erin spent 25 years at The Hartford Financial Services, working mainly in Administration and Information Technology.

Erin’s very first job was at a nursing home, working in the dining room. She really enjoyed interacting with the residents and is happy to be serving the senior population again.

Angie Pirog, Case Manager

Angie, a graduate of Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), has been with Medicaid4You since June 2011. Like Erin, Angie has successfully processed hundreds of Medicaid applications for clients. She says about her work, “I think of Medicaid applications as a puzzle or mystery that needs to be solved.”

Before joining Medicaid4You, Angie worked as a corporate communications media buyer at Healthbridge Management, a nursing home management company. She has also been a teacher and coach and worked for 20 years in marketing for a New England retail store chain.

Angie is an active volunteer at church functions and has been involved with the senior community for many years. Her family members and friends consider her the “go to person” for helping with elderly family issues.

Julia Fanning, Case Manager

Julia, a graduate of CCSU and Texas A & M University, is the newest addition to the Medicaid4You team.

Prior to joining us in early 2014, Julia worked for nine years in accounting, finance, and financial planning. For three years, she served as Activities Director at Middlewoods of Newington, an assisted living facility in central Connecticut. There, she coordinated all the residents’ entertainment and travel expeditions and conducted facility tours for prospective residents and their families.

Julia loves working with numbers and with people. She looks forward to sharing her unique combination of skills and experience with Medicaid applicants and their families.
